Need A Roadworthy While We Are There? We Can Sort That Too
A safety certificate is what you need to sell or transfer a registered light vehicle in Queensland, or to register one again after it has been off the road. We bring the inspection to you and sort the paperwork on the spot. The Queensland set inspection fee for a light vehicle up to 4.5t is $99.35, as at 1 July 2025. A mobile callout fee applies on top of that.
Worth knowing before you book. A safety certificate is a minimum safety check, so it stops short of a full mechanical inspection. It looks at the parts that keep a car safe on the road. Tyres, brakes, steering and suspension, lights and indicators, and the body. For a private sale it stays valid for 2 months or 2,000 km, whichever comes first.
