About Singh Mechanic Workshop and Tyre
One van, one mechanic, one promise. Diagnose it properly, quote it honestly, fix it once. The van became a workshop, the promise never changed.
However you found us, Singh mechanic, Singh auto repair, Singh mechanical, or a neighbour who would not go anywhere else, the name on the gate is Singh Mechanic Workshop and Tyre, and this page tells you who you are trusting your car with. The short version is simple. We are a Beenleigh workshop with over a decade in the business, a 4.7 star rating across hundreds of Google reviews, and one operating rule that runs through everything, nothing is repaired until you know the cause and have approved an itemised quote, as at 2026.
How a one van mobile mechanic became a Beenleigh workshop
Singh started the way plenty of good mechanics do, mobile. One van, a set of tools, and driveways and carparks across Beenleigh and the Logan corridor. Word travels fast when a mobile mechanic turns up on time, explains the fault in plain language, and charges what was quoted. The bookings outgrew the van.
The workshop on Harburg Drive is what that trust built. Full hoists, proper diagnostic equipment, a stocked tyre bay, and a team instead of one set of hands. The van never stopped though. The mobile mechanic service still covers homes and workplaces across the corridor, and the workshop now carries everything the van could not, from full servicing to fleet maintenance for local businesses that keep their vans and utes on the road through us.
Why we diagnose before we quote
You cannot price a noise honestly. Any workshop that quotes a repair before finding the cause is guessing, and a guess either costs them or costs you. So we work the other way around. The $99 diagnostic finds the actual fault first, then you get the cause in plain language, what happens if you leave it, and a firm itemised quote. You approve it before a single part is ordered, or you walk away owing nothing past the diagnostic. That rule came from the mobile years, when every job happened in front of the customer, and it is why our pricing stays transparent now the work happens in the workshop instead of your driveway.
What are we qualified and licensed to do?
Claims are cheap, credentials are checkable. Here is what this workshop actually holds, as at 2026.
Authorised by the Queensland government for vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes.
Roadworthy certificates for private sales, and Certificates of Inspection for taxis, rideshare and booked hire vehicles.
Legally authorised for automotive air conditioning and refrigerant work.
AOAS accredited, with Certificate III Automotive Electrical on staff.
The cover fleet managers ask about before they sign, already in place.
Every repair backed in writing.
Who will actually work on your car?
A team of six to seven qualified mechanics, including a female mechanic on site, something plenty of customers quietly appreciate and we are proud to say out loud. Between them they run Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment and service all makes and models, petrol, diesel and hybrid, including European vehicles. And because Beenleigh speaks more than one language, so do we. The cause, the quote and the finished work are explained clearly in English or Punjabi, whichever suits you.
What Beenleigh drivers think of us
We could tell you we are trustworthy, but that is the one claim a workshop cannot make for itself. A 2026 AutoGuru Top Mechanic for Beenleigh, and a 4.7 star rating across hundreds of Google reviews, says it for us. Here are three, unedited.
Very honest and reliable workshop. They didn’t overcharge and only fixed what was needed. Hard to find mechanics like this.
Best Mechanic. Fair dinkum. Tells you the price. Been a customer since 2020.
No hidden costs or agendas plus a female mechanic on site! Good to see!
More on what we promise, and what happens when we get it wrong, lives on Why Choose Us.
You pay to know what is wrong, then you decide what happens next.

Quick questions about the workshop
How long has Singh Mechanic Workshop been operating?
Over a decade in the business, as at 2026. The first years were fully mobile across Beenleigh and the Logan corridor, and the Harburg Drive workshop grew out of that mobile round. Both still run today.
Is Singh still a mobile mechanic?
Yes. The mobile service that started the business still covers homes and workplaces within 15 to 20 kilometres of Beenleigh, alongside the full workshop.
Do you do smash repairs?
No, and we would rather tell you straight than waste your morning. We are a mechanical workshop, servicing, repairs, tyres, diagnostics and inspections. For panel and paint you need a smash repairer, and for everything mechanical before or after body work, we are here.
Can I meet the team before booking anything?
Of course. Walk in six days a week, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5.30pm, and whoever is at the counter will talk you through the job in English or Punjabi. No booking needed for a conversation.
The van became a workshop. The promise never changed.
Call, book your own slot online, or send the form and hear back within two business days, usually the same day.
